- First to Bring NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America) Mortgage foreclosure workshop to the Constitutents of the 5th Cook County District and to all Cook County to help homeowners with foreclosures that led to relief for many Cook County Homeowners.
- As Chairman of the Cook County Tax Delinquency Subcommittee
has helped to stimulate 38 million dollars in investments of new businesses and recapturing over 400,000 dollars for local taxing

- As Chairman of the Cook County Tax Delinquency Subcommittee through Economic Development throughout the 5th Cook County District has helped to create over 400 Full & Part Time Positions and over 640 construction jobs.

- Held Cook County Womens Health Forum at St. James Hospital in Chicago Heights, IL (Preventive Care, Mental Health Issues, Women reentering Workforce, Nutrition, Housing for single Mothers.
- As Chairman of Cook County Construction oversaw the project for the New Cook County Domestic Violence Court.
- First to appoint an African American to the Metra Board of Transportation.
- Elected President of NABCO (National Association of Black County Officials)

- Brought State of the Art Medical Facilities to the 5th District (Robbins & Ford Heights).
- Brought over $40 Million dollars in Federal Funds to the District Municipalities, Townships, Churches and Not-For Profit Organizations.
- Held Youth Crimes Summits where over 15 police departments and other policing agencies along with constituents attended.
- Provided Senior Citizen’s Law Enforcement Academies throughout the District.
- Brought Wellness on Wheels mammogram, vaccination, flu shots) to the District.
- Helped the tax base in the district by putting tax delinquent abandoned property back on the roles. (Economic Development)
- Provided FEMA and CDBG funds throughout the 5th District.
- Held successful picnics, information fairs and block club parties throughout the 5th District.
